If your request is suitable to proceed, a teleconference consultation will be arranged with our prescribing doctor. The doctor will review your medical history, current medicines, hair-loss concerns and photographs.
The prescribing doctor's consultation fee is $95. This fee covers the doctor's consultation and medical assessment.
Medication, compounding, dispensing and courier charges are separate unless Hair Again Clinic advises you otherwise in writing.
Compounded and Off-Label Medicine Notice
The topical products offered through this service are individually compounded medicines and are therefore unapproved medicines in New Zealand. The proposed ingredient, strength, combination or use may also be off-label. Before prescribing, the doctor will explain the exact formulation being considered, why it may be suitable, its potential benefits and risks, any important uncertainties, alternative options and any monitoring requirements.
Hair Again Clinic does not hold prescription medication on site. If medication is prescribed, it will be compounded and dispensed by the compounding pharmacy and sent directly to you.
Clinic Policy for Women
Hair Again Clinic does not offer Finasteride or Dutasteride to women in either topical or oral form.
Adult women may complete the topical-minoxidil pathway. However, topical minoxidil is not offered during pregnancy, while trying to conceive or during breastfeeding.
